Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) is a unitary state technological university established in 1989 by the Government of Maharashtra, located in Lonere, Raigad district. Named after Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, it was converted into an affiliating technological university in 2016 and now oversees 270+ affiliated engineering, pharmacy and management colleges across Maharashtra. The 525-acre campus offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Management and Computer Applications. It is NAAC B accredited and approved by AICTE and UGC.
