Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) is a private university in Karnataka, formally established by the Government of Karnataka under the Dayananda Sagar University Act, 2012, with the campus operational from May 16, 2014. It is the newest academic phase of Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI), a group with a 60-year legacy founded by Late Shri R. Dayananda Sagar. The university is managed by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peeta (MGVP) Trust. DSU is UGC-recognised, AICTE-approved, and NAAC-accredited with A+ Grade. Its main campus is a 162-acre tech-enabled campus at Harohalli (Ramanagara District), with an additional city campus. DSU has 15,000+ students across schools of Engineering, Health Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy), Management, Law, Sciences, Arts, and Education.
