COEP Technological University (formerly College of Engineering, Pune) is a unitary public university under the Government of Maharashtra, established in 1854 as the Poona Engineering Class and Mechanical School. It is the third-oldest engineering institution in Asia, elevated to full university status in June 2022. Located on a historic 36-acre campus on the banks of the Mula River in Shivajinagar, Pune, COEP Tech offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and Ph.D. programmes in Computer, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. It is NAAC A+ accredited, NIRF-ranked, and admits students purely through MHT CET / JEE Main with no management quota.
